BUSINESS START-UP GRANT

Grants of up to £500 are available to support a new business start-up. Any grant is subject to approval of a business plan.

Eligibility

Applications are invited from local businesses based on Mull, Iona, Ulva, Gometra or Erraid within the first 6 months of start-up.

Information and Guidance

  • A start-up grant cannot be used for staff costs
  • Grants of up to £500 are available
    Applications should provide information on what expenditure is for
  • Applications should be supported by a business plan
  • If awarded, you will be expected to spend the grant within 3 months and provide evidence of how it has been used. Such evidence would include photographs and a report. You may not re-apply for a Business Start-Up Grant
