Business Start-up Grant

Grants of up to £500 are available to support a new business start-up. Any grant is subject to approval of a business plan.

Eligibility

• Applications are invited from local businesses based on Mull, Iona, Ulva, Gometra or Erraid
• You must apply within the first six months of start-up

Information and Guidance

• Grant cannot be used for staff costs
• Grants of up to £500 are available
• Applications should provide detailed information on what expenditure is for
• Applications should be supported by a business plan
• If awarded, you will be expected to spend the grant within twelve months and provide evidence of how it has been used. Such evidence would include photographs and a report
• If no reporting form is received, Trustees may request funds be returned
• You may not re-apply for a Business Start-Up Grant
